Singapore my way

Singapore is one such destination which you can plan in a
short notice if travelling from India. It is at a mere distance of five hours
and visa process only takes three days in India. Singapore is certainly a small
city yet beautiful and has plenty to discover here too. Four to five days are
enough and the city can be explored at a nice pace in these many days. It is a
unique city and even going there many times does not bore one. I love this city
for its warmth, newness, life, liveliness, shopping, entertainment and fun.
There is a lot that this city has to offer.
Singapore is an ultra-clean city and one will be dazzled to
see its beauty starting right from the Airport. Changi Airport is one of the
most beautiful and lively airports that I ever visited. It’s charm, color and
liveliness is unforgettable. While departing back one must keep an hour to
explore this airport too.
Singapore is a cosy city and nearby attractions are best
discovered by walk. More the walk , more you cross scenic and picturesque
places, is my belief! Taxis also are a
great option here and not too expensive in Singapore. The only question is if
you get one. They have a queue for taxi and if you are patient enough you will
get yours too. Singapore also has a good train system which is called the MRT here.
The train system is excellent and ought to be a good experience for travellers
too.

Food is not an issue in Singapore. You get all sort of food
including good Indian food. But I want to make a mention here, if you are fond
of Thai, Singapore has real mouth watering Thai food. I tried Thai once and it
was so delicious that I kept repeating this every day. I recommend you should
try it too. If a veg, even that is not a problem anymore in Singapore. You can
get good variety of veg food too. So don’t worry about your food at all once in
Singapore.
Shopping is fun and too engaging in Singapore. With its numerous malls in every street, it becomes too difficult to choose the mall and cover them all. Covering all malls in Singapore is practically not possible, so I shortlisted the best ones and covered them all 😊. As I went in December new years time, all malls were heavily loaded with great deals. Shopping is one thing you mustn’t miss in Singapore, if you are one true shopper.
Ion Orchard Mall, Suntec City , Vivo City Mall (one of the biggest in
Singapore) ,Raffles City , and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sand. The Shoppes is
my favourite mall in Singapore and is one of the most beautiful malls I have
come across. It has a canal and gondolas plying over right inside the mall
making one feel like in Venice.
